- Company Information: Company name, logo, and settings you configure within the Service.
- Maintenance Data: Equipment records, maintenance requests, service notes, odometer readings, photos, videos, and costs you enter into the platform.
- Communications: Messages or inquiries you send us via email or contact forms.
- Payment Information: Billing details (processed by Stripe — we do not store full payment card numbers).
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Log Data: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of visits, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: See Section 5 for details.
- Usage Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized data about how the Service is used, collected via Vercel Analytics.
c. Information from Third Parties
- Authentication Providers: If you sign in via a third-party provider (e.g., Google via Clerk), we receive basic profile information such as your name and email address.
- Payment Processors: Stripe provides us with subscription status, billing history, and payment confirmation — not full card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process transactions and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (account setup, maintenance notifications, billing receipts)
- Respond to comments, questions, and customer support requests

We do not use your personal information for behavioral advertising, sell it to data brokers, or use it for any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.

- Cloudflare R2 — Media file storage (photos and videos uploaded to the platform)
- Neon / PostgreSQL — Database hosting
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information when required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or ensure the safety of users.
Business Transfers
If we merge with, are acquired by, or sell substantially all of our assets to another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible for the remainder of your billing period and is then scheduled for deletion 30 days after your subscription ends.
We may retain certain information longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements. Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
